The revlon kissable balm stain is a better lip stain! Its moisturizing and dosen’t leave the lips feeling dry. The color really lasts long from my experience. The best shades are sweetheart and smitten.

Also forgot to mention, a big thing for me about the Ultimate Suede is that it isn’t as drying as other longwears (MAC pro longwear included).

Check CVS, Walgreens, etc. I know my local CVS carries a decent amount of L’Oreal. And They’re actually having a big sale on L’Oreal this week: buy 1 get 1 50% off on all L’Oreal products, and if you buy at least $30 worth of L’Oreal you get $10 CVS bucks (acts like a CVS gift card). (Need the free CVS rewards card for these sales.)

Marilyn may have something else in mind but me personally, I shop CVS for my drugstore brands and catch everything on sale. They run weekly specials where you can get “CVS bucks” for spending certain amounts, or buy 1 get 1 50% off on product lines, or even just flat % off. I am in the US; not sure what would be comparable in Australia.

Marlena, something I think you should check out if you haven’t already:

For longwear lipsticks I am in love with the Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede lipsticks. They last all day, through food, etc. as any longwear should… but what makes these unique is that they are in stick form, rather than liquid, and go on without having to add a topcoat. Unlike most drugstore longwears (Revlon Colorstay Overtime, I am looking at you…) it isn’t overly tacky/sticky and uncomfortable. Ultimate Suede feels comparable to my MAC pro longwears (in terms of comfort), but they dry so much faster since they’re not liquid and don’t need a topcoat. And they’re at least half the price. As a result Revlon Ultimate Suede is my new top choice for longwear.

I wasn’t crazy about all of the colors, but I did find some neutrals and a bold I like. Haven’t tried the reds yet.

Have you tried it? If so, what did you think?
