Hello Geeks! :)
Time for my second challenge, for this one I obviously didn't do a "everyday look", I really went for the crazy one.
Inspired by the colourful 80's :)

I hope you'll like it and good luck to you all!

This is my go at the challenge this week.. I was inspired by Geisha before WW2 1938-1940's before the war.. But i decided to tone it down and go with a look that you could wear on a special events. Geishas usually wear red tones so i decided to go opposite and do blue, and turquoise.. and lots of white on the eye that is normally on the face, i tried to do a sublte two toned lip color as well but didnt show to well with my camera.. I had fun and am excited about all the looks yay !!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Here is my take on a 1920's flapper. This is the first time I enter one of these weekly challenges. I used the coastal scents warm palette (Black, gray, ivory), black kohl pencil and feather lashes. For the lips I used a Mary Kay lipstick in raisin.

I know God will only give you what you can handle, I just wish he didn't trust me so much.

Hi everyone! I used for my inspiration the era of the Heavy Metal of the 80's because I'm a huge fan! Here are the products that I used and a little explination on how to apply them. Hope you all like it :D

EYES (Did them first to avoid fall outs)
A burgundy eyeshadow from the lid to the browbone.
MAC Cordouroy eyeshadow lightly on the crease.
NYX Navy blue eyeshadow for the outer wing, use whatever is left in the brush and bring it to the inner corner staying away from the crease. Use the same color on the lower lashline, smoke away!
A touch of white eyeshadow in the inner corner.
Black liquid liner for the upper lashline.
MAC Blackground Paint pot for the lower lashline as close to the lashes as possible.
Brown eyeshadow for a very defined eyebrow.
A thick mascara for the lashes (falsies are optional).

FACE
Revlon ColorStay Fundation
MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer, except on the under eye circles. We want that tired rockstar look.
Set everything with MAC Select sheer pressed powder.

CHEEKS
Define the cheekbones with a matte purple eyeshadow and a small angled brush (MAC 275).
Blend it upwards with an angled blush brush and NYX Peach blush.

LIPS
Mix a clear lipgloss and a shimmery golden eyeshadow.

HAIR
Curl it with a flat iron. Run your fingers through it to mess it up.
Tease the entire top section with hairspray and a teasing comb. Lightly brush it back and pin it down, we still want it to look messy.
With you fingers pull out small sections of hair in the front.

You'll either know immediately who this is and what era it's from, or think I'm a nutjob. So here goes.

The colors came out much better with flash in a dark room. Crazy face, but it showed the look best. Though I like the overall look better in the first shot. I figure why go that crazy with face colors and not show them off?

So yeah, I had so much fun with this! Doing the contours alone was a blast. I rarely have an excuse to go quite so crazy with makeup.
