About makeup blogs?

What's your opinion on promoting a makeup blog by creating a facebook page? I'd really like to know, thanks!
In fact I'm not sure if the question is in its appropriate section of the forum and I excuse myself if ever it's not...

I don't think that promoting your make-up blog on facebook should ever be a problem! By showing your work on facebook, you're more likely to get more acknowledgment for your work, and may even get some calls to do make-up for special occasions, such as proms or weddings. I say, go for it! Where's the harm in a little self-promotion?

It's a great idea!! I do it!! When you make a post on your blog you can share it to the FB page!! It's perfect!!!

I'm way late on this,

But it's funny, because I wanted to make a facebook page to go along with my blog, but I hated the term 'fan' page. I made one anyway, people didn't seem to think I was being big headed.

I have to say though, I was much happier when they made it a 'Like' button instead!
