    Hi!
I love 50′s hair stylism, and I wanna know if any of you knows how can I do them to myself at home (I’m not very sure if I wrote that well :s)

My mother is hairdresser, and sometimes she makes me that waves…but I think she is starting to tire…so, can you help me?

first yo take a long sock. then you wrap a bit of the end of your hair. then you continue wrapping up then make a knot at the top. if you actually want to see what im saying than here’s the link to the video i found out how to do this from:

Buy A deep waver. It’s like a crimper but the waves are much bigger. Hot Tools makes a great one!!

A pencil, lip gloss tube, etc (choose your diameter) and some bobbypins or clips…

wrap around the pencil vertically … if you want even more ‘spiral’ twist the hair before wrapping. Mist with water and let dry.

Take out the clips – you can brush if you want waves or pick it out to leave more of the curl.

Same method using a hot roller, curling, iron – but let then cool before brushing/picking. Be consistent in the direction you are twisting and also the direction you are rolling to get waves or alternate to get crazy spirals. Larger sections = waves and smaller = curls.

    Experiment….
