Help finding a foundation that I won't sweat off

Hello there ^-^

I was hoping you could help me, I’m having problems with my foundation, I have oily-dry combination skin which is already a pain to find something that won’t get my cheeks more dry or give me more shine in my forehead.

My real problem here though is that I sweat my foundation off, I don’t care–too much–about the shine per se but if I try to set it with powder the only thing that happens is that it moves and ends up all cakey.

I was about to buy Channel’s Mat Lumière but I’m not sure if that one is going to work. I have heard there are sweat resistant foundations but I’m not completely sure I can get a hold of them, I could order them online but being a MAC20 I’m not sure what tone I would have to buy.

As for foundation on the dry areas… add a drop of your moisturizer to it before applying. I do this with the Colorstay combo/oily for my cheek areas.

I have the exact same issue! I have combo skin that is super sensitive. I also were my makeup all day and hate when it sweats off or cakes.

This is what I use and it can last all day into the next if need be lol.

moisturizer Yeah it says night but I use it day and night. :c)

foundation applied with a 187 bush

bronzer for powder

This mix has worked in the rainy to humid seattle weather and super hot mexico weather. :c)

I find that powder foundations are quite sweat resistant. I only use powder foundations during the hottest months of the year. Most have pretty good coverage.

I ONLY wear powder foundations (Bare Escentuals) in the summertime because they won’t sweat or melt off your face. And they contain SPF 15 in both the foundation and mineral viel powder. When I’m sweaty, I simply take a cotton paper towel and dab it over my face … makeup doesn’t budge.

@Sandy. I don’t think I’m going to be able to get a hold on those, they don’t ship outside the US due to HAZMAT regulations, maybe I’ll try the skin prep and I’ll see if that alone works

@Talitha, I’m from Mexico as well~ so you know my problem, can I ask where you buy the moisturizer?

Truth be told I was a bit reluctant to use powder foundations because I had have bad experiences in the past but maybe it’s time to try again. Thank you!
