Makeup for Ginger/Coppery redheads?

Hi Everyone!

I searched this forum to see if anyone already posted about this but I haven’t seen anything.  So… I recently lifted the natural color of my dark brunette hair to a light brown and accidentally ended up a ginger.  :) I call it a happy accident as I’ve always loved redheads.  Since I have never had this hair color, I feel a little clueless suddenly about what eye shadow and lip colors would work best?  I have brownish/hazel eyes, and fair skin.

Greens, purples (more red-based ones), and browns all look excellent with that colouring, IMO.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. I am red-headed by nature (love it) and have the same color eyes. The colors I love most are burgundy’s (the make green eyes look AMAZING) golds, coppers, purples, very little green and if so darker ones. To be honest, there aren’t any shades I shy away from expect I only do pops of blue (it looks odd with red hair to me) and a full green eye. I use darker greens mostly and when I do use lighter greens I warm them up with dark browns. Think fall shades and that will help you decided which colors to try. I suggest playing with all colors and trying them out.
