Makeup is lovely but I think the photos are too photoshopped.

I looked through your work and you are way too talented to have it all blurred away like this. Anyone can run the surface blur tool in photoshop, but it takes someone with actual talent to be a MUA. Your work is stellar and I think all the blurring cheapens it.

I didn’t make it – the photo came from the photographer already like this! :(

But my own pictures I try not to photoshop it even knowing very well -

My biggest problem is: having not appropriated camera. Most MUA have good camera for do the pics, while I do with my camera video. That is terrivle because it doesn’t focus nice or if it’s a bif far it get blurred.

But thank you for the comment and I’m really glad you think I have nice talent!

I’ve definitely had the same problem with photographers. It’s a tough situation because you know they mean well, but you don’t want to tell them to not photoshop their own work because it may come across as insulting. The best way to deal with it that I have found is to ask for both their photoshopped versions and the “unedited” versions. Any photographer worth her salt will gladly oblige!

I’m so happy you didn’t take offense– I definitely did not mean to come across in a mean way! Some people are very sensitive, but it is always so nice to see people who are confident enough to take well-meaning criticism in a positive way.

I think you are really inspiring and I’m really looking forward to more of your work!

It’s always a bit difficult with work, most when you have contract and can not use the pics before being on photoshop.  Most photographer I know they don’t send the pictures “naked” without any fixing. :/ sucks… Because my husband is amazing with photoshop and sometimes he does fix for me somethings but without make it unatural or blurr (he hates blurred pictures). But if you get your work like that you can don not so mutch about.

But the blur I leaned to live with, theres people that don’t take our work so sirious. I’ve seen photografers change all the makeup the artist did in photoshop. Really mean and sad.

I didn’t take offense at all. I did post here to have some opnion and it’s amazing your comment because helps me grow. People learn a lot with criticism, at least I do! :) I can not really improve with everybody says it’s ok!

    - i just really thought “if she likes my work with this creap photoshop or bad quality camera – imagine if  i have nice matterial to do it”  hehe improving comming. :D
