I am leaving on vacation for five days on Friday and I don’t know what is simple for me to take with me so I don’t have a giant makeup bag. We are just going to do touristy things and maybe spend a little time in Disney Land. I would love a tutorial on some simple makeup styles to wear while on vacation and what to pack when you go.
I think rather than focusing on looks, it’s better to focus on products.
If you want to travel light, a good idea would be to take products that can multi-task. For example, you can use a lipstick as a cream blush. You can use pencil eye liners as cream eyeshadows (just apply and blend it out with your finger). Depending on the colour, you can use some eyeshadows as either a cheek highlighter, a blush, a contour shade, or a brow colour. Various companies sell products meant to multitask as well (e.g., NARS’ The Multiples; Becca Lip and Cheek tints, plus their Beach Tints; e.l.f.’s All Over Color Stick).
Another good idea would be to stick with cream products, largely because you can apply them with your fingers (no need to take any brushes!).
