HELP! ok so im doing my boyfriends aunts makeup for a sixteen and ive pretty much got everything down. ive just never experimented with older skin so idk what type of foundation to use.

One that will stay on all night and is good for combination/oily skin.

if anyone has any suggestions please please please help a girl out!! :D

also if you have any tips, advice, and what you think is best eyeshadow application for older women!! that would be great!

I don’t think there is a “best”. It’s very subjective. What works best for one person may not work for someone else. What sucks for one person may be someone else’s “holy grail” product.

What’s her age range? Does she have any other concerns besides combination/oily skin? What’s her eye shape? Does she have a hooded eye? A deep-socketed eye?

Depending on if she has a lot of fine lines and wrinkles you don’t want anything that will settle into those. Try a mineral makeup like Bare Minerals. Also, powder blushes will settle into fine lines and acutally accentuate them, so use a cream blush. It will add a flush of color to the cheeks that is perfect for older skin. Try NYX’s cream blush in “Natural”, is a soft pink color that will flatter any skin tone. Keep the colors neutral, dark eyes can actually make you look older. Give the eyes a winged look, that draws the eyes upward giving them a more open and lifted effect.
