It’s beautiful! But kind of theatrical rather than a going-out look in my opinion. =) Maybe without the very last layer of yellow/light orange at the top of the eyelid I would give this a try! Keep ‘em coming!

Just curious about your thoughts; I have been doing a lot of research of inexpensive alternatives, especially eyeshadows, but keep coming across products that contain parabens (the common ingredient used to preserve cosmetics). I hear you should avoid parabens but I don’t see enough evidence of actual cases of damage from cosmetics containing the ingredient, just evidence of parabens being present in tissues of some cancer patients. What is your opinion?

This video is by far my most favorite & I tried this look with my NYX palette. The eyeshadows look amazing together but with my tan skin, yellow doesn’t really show. =( Other than that, I’ve gotten so many compliments & I put a side bun also with a colorful flower hair clip & all of my friends (even my mom) wanted to know how I achieved this look! When I tell them I learned through MUG on Youtube, everyone is always surprised. I hope there will be more cocktail & flower inspired video tutorials!

Dramatic looks always intimidate me, but really, you do pull it off quite well… I have green eyes with a dark blue ring around them, and I always stick to browns and golds from the hazel around my pupils. I really do intend on broadening the colors for eye shadows, but cant get enough courage to do it!! If you can- which would be so appreciated- make a tutorial video on looks and colors for eye colors like or similar as mine. Not so dramatic but enough to imply that I can pull off a dramatic also sophisticated look… just a suggestion. I know that if you do it, I’m sure it’ll be magnificent!!!
